No pictures today. I missed my blog last weekend and feel just horrible about it.... Sure. The weather is starting to shape up here in the Palm Springs area after what's gotta be the wettest winter I've ever experienced here. (9 years). Actually I've lived here long enough that if it's 70 degrees in the house, I'm cold. 80 degrees with a fan moving the air is just fine.

This morning I thought I'd talk about Posts to come. I really want to get over to Lake Havasu on the Colorado River (I don't know why it was named a lake, it's a reservoir). It's the tribal area of the Chemehuevi Indians (pronounced chem wave ee) It's one of the hottest areas in southern California which makes Palm Spring's summer temps seem like a balmy paradise. I spoke to one of the Indian residents a few years ago and she said that normal air conditioning can only be expected to keep an insulated residence 30 degrees cooler then the outdoor temp which means that many times it's ninety-some degrees in your house during summer days. Wow, I don't think I'm that much of a desert rat. But I want to see the place. It's directly east of Palm Springs.

I also want to take the boat trip out to Catalina Island. It just sounds like a trip chuck full of pictures. It's gotta be pretty.

I also see a trip up to Lake Tahoe on the horizon. I've never been there and I hear it's really worth seeing.

I also see a cruise looming somewhere in my future.

To change the subject slightly. Do my friends understand why I use Blog Spot way more than I use Facebook? I mean you don't have enough room to do diddly squat in Facebook. Your comments are so restricted space wise. I mean shit, I can't say anything in less than a hundred or so words. Well, you know what I mean. To me Facebook is where our culture is going ...... to sound bites, clips, pieces, and snippits. Snapshots of feelings and partially conveyed thoughts.

Well, I'll stop rambling. Toodle loo.
