Today my destination was the Palm Springs Ariel Tram. It was early morning (9 AM) and there wasn't much sun back in the craggy crack it's in. They've added new cars to it that rotate as you go up. I didn't go up because (1) I didn't feel like paying $20 bucks to freeze my butt off and (2) I'm only a few weeks away from a valve job or whatever they wind up deciding to do and I didn't feel like gasping for oxygen up at 4400 feet. The top left photo shows the building at the top of the tram. Even using the (12X) telephoto I couldn't get very close. Remember you can click on the picture to enlarge it.
